Welcome! Here we run fun and exciting home wine tasting parties!

Why you need a wine tasting?

Your perfect wine will come by wine tastings. If you can taste fine wines in a relaxed atmosphere at your home, or at your  office with your family, friends, and colleagues, isn't it much better than repeating guessing work in front of hundreds bottles at a shop? As a wine consultant, I have been helping customers find their perfect wines since 1997. I will visit your place (home, office, or your prefered place) with the best selections based on your choices and needs. You can enjoy the tasting with your family, friends, colleagues, and wine lovers free of charge .You just schedule  the party, and with your guests, you will choose and taste some wines you really like, and you can even order at that time. You don't need to go a wine shop, read the labels, guessing the taste, and so on. Save your time and energy and just enjoy your life!

Corton Clos du Roi Grand Cru A.O.C. Domaine d'Ardhuy
Vintage 2003

Grape variety Pinot noir. Area 22 ouvrées (2.62 acres)
The vineyard
The parcel consists of old vines aged 40 years in one half of the parcel with 20 year-old vines in the remaining half.
The soil/ subsoil
Situated on the highest part of the hill - between 300 and 320
meters altitude - « Clos du Roi » is on a steep slope facing southeast. The soil is brown limestone on a subsoil of Late Bathonian.Very well-drained, dry, pebbly and warm, this soil presents difficult growing conditions, and therefore stresses the vines during growth and maturation of the grapes.
Vinification
The grapes are picked by hand, then sorted, crushed and completely de-stemmed. Fermentation is started rapidly with no prefermentarymaceration. Punching the cap is the only extractionmethod to obtain aromas, colours, and tannins: there are no addedenzymes or forced heating. Vatting time is between 12 and 14 days, then the free-run wine and first pressing are mixed, settled cold, and put in barrels for maturing. The “Clos du Roi” is matured in oak, 50% of which is new oak either from Bertranges or Tronçais, for between 15 and 18 months. The wine is then bottled without fining and with very slight filtering.
The Wine
An intense, purplish-red color, and a mineral aroma not often
easily detectable when the wine is young. On the palate the wine is powerful, but with hidden reserves. The tension and mineral characteristics of this wine require several years of cellaring before full potential can be reached.

Domaine La Cabotte
 Cuvee Gabriel 2007
AOC Massif d'Uchaux
Cotes du Rhone Villages

Here is my top Cotes du Rhone cuvee Gabriel. The production is only limited to 2388 bottles for the outstanding vintage 2007. The wine was bottled late January of this year after aging for 17 months in oak barrel.

Named after the Burgundian founder of the estate, Gabriel D' Ardhuy.

I have received a small allocation of 480 bottes (40 cases ).This wine is incredibly good! In fact, it's so good that I probably should have saved for myself and enjoy it for years to come. The wine leads off with a classic nose of violets, spice and garrigue followed by a soft, lush palate of ripe plum, black cherry and wild berry...There's an enormous depth of flavor and complexity...
Phenomenal quality at play with regard to the 2007 southern Rhône vintage. Run! Don't walk to pick up a case of this wine!
